Brain Tumour Charity - Take Strides for the Twilight Walk

Walk it your way, beat brain tumours together

Join us virtually for The Twilight Walk this October and November and cover 10km, 50km or 100km to raise money for a cure! Brain tumours aren’t slowing down during the coronavirus pandemic and with your continued support, neither are we. Although we can’t come together for The Twilight Walk in person this year, we’re not standing still. People affected by brain tumours need us now more than ever.

All we ask is that every adult walker pledges to raise £100 to help us take strides towards a world without brain tumours. And if you can raise more, we’d really appreciate it! You can find out how your walk will make an impact here.

Stride out yourself or form a team – and walk anywhere, any time in October and November to make up the miles to your chosen goal.

You can take part however works best for you, while keeping safe and following current Government guidelines. Stride out yourself or form a team – walk in a way that’s special to you anywhere, any time in October and November.

Just sign up to begin. Once the challenge is over, we’ll send you a commemorative medal to mark your amazing achievement!

How to take part

As an individual

If you’re walking as an individual, simply choose from 10km, 50km or 100km, sign up and you’re ready to go! Remember: you can split the distance over multiple walks if you want to.

As a team

If you’re walking as a team and will all be completing the same distance, pick a team leader to sign up first. They’ll need to choose a team name and fundraising target. When others sign up, they can join your team by typing in the team name. This will ensure your pages are together.

As a relay

If you’re walking as a team but would rather split the total distance between you, you’ll need to sign up as a team (see above). When others sign up and join your team, they’ll be able to set the distance they want to complete as part of the team target.

Meet your fellow walkers!

We’d love to see you in action, so share your progress and photos using  #TheTwilightWalk2020.
